During the summer of 2010 as my work load increased beyond what I could handle, I started turning to Ryan for creative and logistical support for video production projects. Our first big project together was a Fourth of July video in the style of the Pepsi Refresh commercials. This project required a large amount of preproduction including casting, props, and production coordination. It was in this that I saw Ryan come to life. He was vital in setting up our shooting schedule with the local fire and police departments, coaching the talent on specific blocking and movements, as well as playing most of the instruments as we had to do custom music. The video was a huge success.
After this I began pulling Ryan in on more projects and giving him more responsibilities like script writing, co-producing, and even being the on camera talent. Ryan is a joy to work with. He has a ton of ideas, but is gracious when an idea is changed or not used. Truly a team player who takes and gives clear direction. I could always trust that when I gave Ryan a task it would be done well and in a timely manner. I look forward to seeing more of his creative work in future.

After having worked with Ryan, I grew to admire his knowledge for what was relevant and important in communicating a message or story. He was always clever, and open to collaborating on ideas in order to make them better.

I have loved working and collaborating on projects with Ryan. He really brings that spark of energy, creativity, intellectual capital, challenges the status quo of what can or has been done, and works hard on seeing things through to completion.

Music
In the 6 years I have known Ryan, I've had the chance to work with him in multiple creative environments. The first time I heard one of his songs at an event back in 2005, I knew creativity was something that defined this gentleman. Whether it was playing acoustic, electric, or bass guitar in our Celebrate Recovery band or leading worship for our 1st-6th graders, Ryan has always been able to adapt to his surroundings quickly. He seems to have that artistic instinct, that doesn't come naturally to everyone, which allows him to mold himself into whatever creative position is necessary. And the humility with which he conducts himself when using his talents, makes him invaluable as a collaborative team member.

My experience with Ryan Brymer has always been positive. Having worked on a number of creative projects together, he's very willing to take instruction and offer solutions when he disagrees with a particular creative direction. He's the epitome of a team player

After working with Ryan for over a year, I have rarely seen an individual who can approach an environment with more creativity. His knowledge, versatility, artistic diversity, and extreme adaptability are assets that do not come along very often in an individual.

Being a creative person myself, I run into a lot of communication problems when clients or customers attempt to describe or draw out their idea to me. Ryan has an uncanny ability to articulate both technical specifications and requirements as well as conceptual ideas to those who are creative. He does an excellent job of painting a picture of what he wants something to look like, sound like, or feel like. He'd be an absolutely wonderful creative director for any company or ministry.

From concept to implementation Ryan was great to work with. He showed a great awareness for the need of the project and thought beyond just the first 2 steps. Being able to communicate the project clearly and defining the roles and goals to complete it was essential.

Ryan provided great creative and technical guidance on a pilot product. As yet, the product has not been launched, but three years into the effort, his work still feels fresh and relevant. He made a tremendous contribution.
