Books
I'm always looking for good books. I read a lot of different things.
Do you have any favorites or recommendations?

Dan:
The Ragamuffin Gospel" by Brennan Manning (change your view of grace)
"Same Kind of Different As Me" by Ron Hall & Denver Moore (change your view on social justice, being a staffer, I'm sure you've already received recommendations)
"Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller (Required reading for any twentysomething Christian in today's culture, again, I'm sure you've read it)
"Sacred Marriage" by Gary Thomas (totally revolutionize your marriage, well, everyone always says that about THEIR book recommendation, but this one is the real thing. Only marriage book Ross has ever recommended…I see why)
That's all I can come up with at this hour, but I'll be back with some more.
Ryan:
I've read 1 & 3 and I own 2. I've never read a book faster than I read Blue
Like Jazz (2 days). If you like Ragamuffin, I totally suggest Ruthless Trust
and The Signature of Jesus.
Sacred Marriage I haven't read, but I bought Sacred Parenting for $5. I
figured it was a good deal so I might as well plan ahead. Still haven't read
it.
TroySims:
here's my list of some books to read:
1. Save me from Myself – Brian "Head" Welch – a great look into the Rock world and how Christ can save even those that seem so far away from Him.
2. Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt: A Novel – Anne Rice – This was a suprisingly good book, I know it's not cannon, but it was a good story on what Jesus' life could have look like. She did a tremendous amount of research on the Jewish lifestyle before writing this.
3. The Circle Trilogy (Red, Black, and White) – Ted Dekker – this is a great fantasy novel that you can see Christ interwoven throughout with Christ's name ever being mentioned.
That's about all I can think of at this moment.

Troy.
Thanks for the input.
I've not read any of these, but I have been quite interested in the Korn
book.
Is the Dekker stuff kinda cheesy? I got that feeling by looking at it. But I
tend to be pretty cynical about "Christian Fiction."

I will forward my list of what's on my shelf:

I have a lot of catching up to do.
TroySims:
I found it was really good writing. Dekker is good at writing dialogue and action. I really didn't want to put the books down.
